Grantmaking by the Community Foundation

The Community Foundation of Greater Greenville serves as Trustee of the Walter Johnson Trust overseeing the administration and allocation of the funds. Grantmaking through Advised Funds
Many families have established Donor Advised Funds at the Community Foundation. The donors who establish these funds retain the ability to recommend grants to any 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Applications for distributions are not accepted for these funds.
