The Community Foundation of Greenville, Inc. is a public charity established in 1956 by visionary donors who sought to create a way to give back to their community and improve the quality of life for the citizens of Greenville County.
Over the last fifty years, many people, from all walks of life, have joined in that commitment. As an organization, we seek ways to make meaningful, sustained differences in the Community.
Our role includes helping donors respond to community needs that match their personal interests, provide effective grantmaking that seeks to encourage collaboration and partnerships, and to encourage philanthropy that will leave a legacy for the next generation.
